Pavel Novotny (1971) graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague in 1994. In 1992 he studied one year at the Faculty of Law of University of Rouen in France. In 1996 he was awarded a postgraduate diploma in international law at the Faculty of Law of University of Toulouse in France, including a practical training in law firms in France. He started to work as a lawyer in 1996. During 20 years between 1998 - 2018, he has been a senior lawyer in the prestigious Law firm Vyskočil, Krošlák and partners in Eliska BARTHELEMY’s team.
In 2018, he founded with his long-time colleagues the Law firm BARTHELEMY & PARTNERS. Between 2008-2015 he passed the State Translator Examination in French (C2) and Russian (C2) and the State Examination in English (C1).
He specializes in corporate law, commercial contracts, property law, leases, debt collection, mergers and acquisition. He is appointed sworn translator in French and Russian languages with the Regional Court in Prague.
